This protected forest is a home for some animals and plants of the world, such as : orang utan, sun bear, proboscis monkey, nipenthies and endemic plants Balikpapan “Etlingera Balikpapanensis” (Balikpapan Ginger). The Environment Education Enclosure is also equipped with bear information center.
